Unmount Partition:

To unmount a partition:

1.	Select a drive from the top of the GCC Partitions window.

NOTE:  You cannot unmount the startup partition unless you start up from a floppy.

2.	Select a partition from the middle of the window.

3.	Click the Unmount button.  The partition will be unmounted, unless a file on that partition is currently open; in that case, a dialog will be displayed informing you of this.  If this dialog does appear, you must Quit from all applications and repeat steps 1 - 3 above in order to unmount this partition.

NOTE:  If you are in the Finder, you can unmount a partition by dragging its icon to the Trash.
